South Street Short Stay Car Park Axminster

Finding South Street Car Park Axminster from the South
This car park is at the very top of South Street near The George Pub.
If you are coming in from the south of the town drive all the way through and at The George pub take the right fork (more a straight on). Pass the NCP Car Park on your right and then turn immediate right down South Street.
It should be noted that when you leave you must turn right and either proceed all the way down South Street to head South, East or West from the town or if heading North turn right down Church Street after around 150 yards and then right again at the end.
Finding South Street Car Park (From the A35)
Leave the A35 on to the B3261 signed to Axminster. (And A358 Chard/Taunton) This junction is called Symonds Lane.
Go straight ahead for around 1.5 miles and look out for the Leisure Centre on the right. Soon after it on the left is The Red Lion and after that, on the right is the turning down South Street, where a Chinese Restaurant stands on the corner.
The car park may then be found immediately on the right.
It should be noted that when you leave you must turn right and either proceed all the way down South Street to head South, East or West from the town or if heading North turn right down Church Street after around 150 yards and then right again at the end.
Finding South Street Car Park (From the North)
If coming from the north as you enter Axminster stay on the A358 to the heart of the town.
At the T junction in the centre of town turn left then immediately turn right down South Street.
South Street Car Park is right there on you right.
It should be noted that when you leave you must turn right and either proceed all the way down South Street to head South, East or West from the town or if heading North turn right down Church Street after around 150 yards and then right again at the end.

Each hour up to 6 hours is £1.10
If you pay £11 you can stay 24 hours.

Motorhomes parked in here must leave the car park by 6 p.m. and there is no overnight sleeping
There is no height restriction over the entrance.
On exit you must turn right
Getting in to Axminster town centre
Leave the car park and turn left (on foot only!).
You are basically now at the top of the town.
Leaving the car park by car:
On exit you must turn right.
Then either turn right down Church Street, after around 150 yards, to the town centre (to head north out of the town) or turn continue down South Street to the end and join the A358 and from there head straight on towards Seaton and the A35 (best for South, East and West).
