Finding Axminster Station Car Park (from the South)
Axminster Station, and the car park adjacent to it are, unsurprisingly well signed around the town. If you are coming in from the south, or head in to Axminster on the main A358 and after passing under the A35 bridge you will start to enter a built up area which is Axminster.
Passing up a short hill the road turns sharp left and then sharp right, and just after this second bend, on the left the entrance to the station may be found. There is also a petrol station on site, signs for this may also be followed.

Finding Axminster Station Car Park (From the A35)
There are two signed exits to Axminster off the A35 and the best bet to get to the station is take neither but instead take the A358 turn signed to Musbury and Seaton. At the bottom of the slip road turn right on to the A358 towards Axminster.
Passing up a short hill the road turns sharp left and then sharp right, and just after this second bend, on the left the entrance to the station may be found.
There is also a petrol station on site, signs for this may also be followed.
Finding Axminster Station Car Park (From the North)
If coming from the north then you will have to drive through the centre of the town to get to the station and its car park.
The town centre is a well known bottleneck and car should be taken. Simply follow the signs for the station or Seaton, continuing on the A358 through the town centre.
As you emerge from the very narrow centre of the town you will drop down a short hill to a roundabout where you should turn left and the station entrance is to be seen just up a small hill on the right.
How much does it cost to park at Axminster Station Car Park
There is no "Short Term" (hourly) option.
A day ticket is £6.10
"Off Peak" is £3.50 for the remainder of the day (from noon)
There are also weekly, monthly and annual ticket options.
A "Weekend" option from Friday PM to Sunday may also be available.

More information about Axminster Station Car Park
The car park is open 24 hours a day and there is no height restriction on the entrance.
No overnight camping or sleeping
The Car Park has 100 spaces and usually you will find a space.
There are toilets on the station platform which are open when the ticket office is open (hours vary).
You have to enter your vehicle registration to get your ticket which should be displayed.
Getting in to Axminster town centre
Head towards the petrol station but use the footpath (pavement) to the left to get to the roundabout. Walking around the roundabout take the road signed as the A358 up the hill to the town centre, which is in effect straight over from the petrol station side.
The first turning to the left leads to Tesco and there is a steep ramp from there which also gives access to the town centre.
It should be noted that several bus routes stop at the station.
